Welcome to Omnipresence Consulting.
Omni is latin for everywhere, which is another way of being globally present. This is my mission! I want to support individuals in all corners of the world to enhance their mental game. Be it in sports, business, performing arts or any other venture that they would like to excel in.
Omnipresence is run by Dr. Caren Diehl, an International Sport Psychologist. Who has over 10 years of international experience working with some of the top athletes in the world. As well as individuals who wanted to achieve their goals. Such as climbing Mt Everest or completing 7 marathons on 7 continents.
Dr. Caren Diehl, Ph.D.
Caren was born in Germany but grew up in Ghana and Tanzania. She received her BSc (Hons) in Sport Psychology from Glamorgan University. Attended Temple University in Philadelphia and received her M.Ed in Kinesiology. Her PhD was received from the University of Wolverhampton. To date, she has lived in 7 countries.
A well qualified international sport psychologist with extensive experience of working with sports professionals on all levels (International, Olympic, Professionals and Amateurs alike). Held positions at National Sports Institutes and Specialist Medical Centres worldwide with a great degree of success. Specialities include active monitoring of sporting behaviour and formulating performance-orientated tailored regimes for athletes’ preparations for major sporting events.
She is a published author and has presented various papers.
She has the CEC (center for executive coaching) certification. As well as the ACC from the International Coaching Federation
Experience
2019-current founded Omnipresence Consulting to help athletes, coaches and businesses across the globe.
From 2016 to 2018 she worked in Malaysia at the National Institute of Sports. The athletes she worked with won a Bronze medal in the Rio Olympics, a gold medal at the World Championships (Diving individual 10m platform, Women’s team event bowling), World Cup Diving, the first time Malaysia won a medal for an individual event (bronze), first time to win gold at the world series in 10m synchro. Two-time PWBA winners (first time for Malaysia). Gold, Silver and Bronze at Asian Games, Commonwealth Games and Southeast Asian Games.
2012 – 2015 she was based in the UAE and worked in Dubai at 2 Sports Clinics.
Prior to starting her Ph.D. and during her Ph.D. she worked with a Soccer team in Ghana (2005 – 2009). She also worked with wheelchair basketball teams in the USA and the UK, as well as a sledge hockey team in the USA.
Due to her experience in different cultures, she has a great understanding of the impact culture has on performance. She also has knowledge of how people perform, think, feel and communicate under pressure.
